It has been a lazy summer on some fronts. I have not been as productive as an artist as I would like but I have been a more healthy individual and met my goal of "running two miles without stopping". Back in April I signed up for a half marathon and for the most part I have been really good about training. I did have a small injury to my right hip area but after a visit to a physical therapist, chiropractor, and now having adopting a rigorous stretching regiment I'm feeling pretty good and far and beyond reached my goal. I've actually made it over four miles without stopping so I feel pretty good about that!
I have almost three weeks till I run my half marathon. I still feel like I'm not strong enough but will make a go at it all the same.
